Whirlwind of Fire
Whirlwind of Fire was founded 18 years ago by Elektra Smith in 2007(Boston at the time) at the age of 20 years old. Pastor Dr. Marcellus Harris Jr. allowed Whirlwind of Fire to be birthed at their home church, First Baptist Church Morrison and tasked them to minister in mime every third Sunday for several years. There are five founding members including Elektra Smith, Rasheena Harris, Arletha Clark, Tahnisha Hines (Clark), and Denise Smith. Currently we operate with two members, Elektra Smith and Denise Smith. Just one year into mime ministry, the Whirlwind of Fire won first place at the KR Music and 94.1 gospel radio station Talent Showcase in 2008. In addition, God has blessed Whirlwind of Fire ministry and Gospel Of The Arts conference to be featured on WSKY channel 4 for the Ministry in Motion program aired on Sundays at 9am. Their ministry also have had the opportunity to minister on The Word Network television station by being selected to attend Bobby Jones Visions Studios in 2011. Together, Whirlwind of Fire started a youth mime and Performing Arts ministry called Miracle Mime and now called Miracles n Motion. The Whirlwinds are committed to edifying the body of Christ through mime and outreach ministry. They have ministered in mime in the Hampton Roads area, all along the east coast, and Barbados. As of January 2017, Whirlwind of Fire received its official 501-c3 non-profit organization approval. Whirlwind of Fire is passionate about breaking generational curses and building generational blessings through the performing arts ministry. Currently, Minister Elektra serves as leader and Minister Denise serves as co-leader of Miracles n Motion at Revelation Church, under the leadership of Apostle Jason and Prophet Sonya. Our mission is to heal the world through the arts, prophetic movement, intercession, deliverance and healing.
